# Reopen a thread

Back to the inbox for everyone.

`POST /threads/{id}/reopen`

## POST /threads/{id}/reopen

Back to the inbox for everyone.

## Example

Needs `threads:write`. The thread moves from the archive back to the inbox for everyone, and `doneBy` and `doneAt` are cleared. The assignee stays. Answers with the assignment.

**curl**

```
curl -X POST "$OE/threads/thr_7c1e4a90/reopen" -H "$AUTH"
```

**Response**

> A key acts for the workspace owner. A key limited to particular addresses or domains reaches only the threads that arrived at them, and any other thread is a 404.
