# Temporary addresses

A free inbox that takes real mail for an hour, then closes, so a signup cannot follow you.

## Details

- Live at /tools/temp-mail, free and without an account. Take the generated address or pick your own name on one of the shared domains.
- Each address takes real mail for an hour, and Extend adds an hour at a time up to a day. When the lease ends the inbox closes and cannot be opened again.
- Receive only, with every message that arrives listed and remote images blocked until you ask for them.
