# Sign-up forms for audiences

A form on your website, or a hosted link, that adds whoever fills it in to an audience.

## Details

- Build a form under Forms in the sidebar: start from one of six starting points, or describe what you need and let the AI build it. Fields cover email, names, short and long text, numbers, phone, website, date, dropdowns, single and multiple choice, checkboxes, consent, a choice of lists and hidden values, and the look takes your colours, font, corners, width and logo.
- Share it as a link to a page we host, or put it on your website with one script tag, an iframe, or plain HTML that posts straight to Nextmail without any script.
- Each sign-up becomes a contact in All contacts and in the audiences you picked, and the answers stay on the form's Submissions tab, where you can find sign-ups by email address, add a waiting sign-up by hand and export them as CSV.
- Double opt-in sends a confirmation email from one of the workspace’s sending addresses before anyone joins, and someone who unsubscribed is only added back once they confirm. Without it, people who unsubscribed stay off.
- Up to ten workspace addresses you can read can get an email for each new sign-up, at most sixty an hour for one form.
- A form is a draft until you publish it, design changes to a live form wait for the next publish while its settings apply at once, and a paused form shows your closed message instead. The assistant can make, change, publish and pause forms from the chat.
- Bots meet a hidden field and a speed check, and sign-ups are rate limited per network.
- The API, the SDK, the CLI and the MCP server manage forms and their submissions too, a public endpoint takes sign-ups from your own code, and webhooks report each sign-up as it happens.
- A field can fill the contact itself. A phone, company, job title, website or birthday field saves its answer on the contact when the sign-up is accepted, where the contact has nothing yet, and the page of a contact lists that person’s sign-ups with their answers.
- A sign-up can start an automation, such as a welcome series, as soon as the person joins.
