# Everything Nextmail does, and how it does it.

90 things you can use today and 0 still to come. Only the ones still to come are marked, so an unmarked card is one that works. Every one of them is below, with what it actually does.

## Domains & addresses

Nextmail is built around the domain rather than the mailbox. You point one at us, and every address on it is real.

acme.com acme.dev studio.acme.com

hello@ acme.com delivered

billing@ acme.com delivered

oct-2026-signup@ acme.com delivered

anything-at-all@ acme.com delivered

### Catch-all addresses

Every address on the domain receives, including ones that have never been created. One switch closes it.

hello@ yourdomain.com delivered

billing@ yourdomain.com delivered

careers@ yourdomain.com delivered

anything-at-all@ yourdomain.com delivered

oct-2026-signup@ yourdomain.com delivered

### Multiple domains

Point several domains at one inbox, subdomains included.

acme.com acme.dev team.acme.com hey.acme.io

### DMARC policy

A starter p=none record, printed to copy or written by a sync, never tightened for you.

TXT \_dmarc.acme.com

v=DMARC1; p= none; rua=…

Optional watch only

### Temporary addresses

A free inbox that takes real mail for an hour, then closes, so a signup cannot follow you.

trial-signup@example.com 60 min

extend it an hour at a time, up to a day

### Send as any alias

Reply from the exact address the mail arrived on.

### Merged inboxes

Read every address in one stream, or narrow to the two or three you actually work out of.

hello@acme.com

### Forward an address elsewhere

Point any address, or everything a domain accepts, at an outside mailbox instead of this one.

hello@ acme.com delivered

billing@ acme.com delivered

### Custom webmail domain

Your team opens its mail at a subdomain of yours, such as mailbox.yourcompany.com, with your brand on it.

acme.com acme.dev studio.acme.com

hello@ acme.com delivered

billing@ acme.com delivered

oct-2026-signup@ acme.com delivered

### Your addresses in any mail app

Read and send from an address in Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, the Gmail app or your phone’s own mail app, with its calendar and contacts too, signed in with an app password.

## Workspaces & team

## Privacy & ownership

Privacy first is a claim every mail company makes, so here it is as a list you can hold us to: what is stripped out of a message before you see it, what is fetched on your behalf and how to stop it, and what happens to your mail when you stop paying us.

### Transport encryption

Mail moves over TLS on the hops we run, and transport alone never turns the padlock green, because nothing on this backend can read the transport off a delivery.

### Encryption at rest

### End-to-end encryption
