Read what is known about a sender

The line the reading pane shows under an unfamiliar sender.

GET/senders/{email}

Runs the real call on your workspace.

GET /senders/{email}

The line the reading pane shows under an unfamiliar sender.

Example

Needs threads:read. Give any address of the sender. Only its domain is read, and what is known about it is shared by every workspace and by the subdomains of the domain, then looked up again once it is 30 days old.

curl
curl "$OE/senders/[email protected]" -H "$AUTH"
Response
{  "object": "sender_profile",  "domain": "stripe.com",  "about": "Stripe builds payment software for businesses that sell online, and operates worldwide.",  "updatedAt": "2026-09-30T08:12:44.000Z"}

A domain nobody has looked up yet is a 404, and so are personal mailbox providers such as Gmail and the domains of your own workspace. POST /senders/{email}/research looks a domain up.
