Draft from a note
You give the gist, it writes the body.
Describe your message in the bar under the body and press Enter. It is written straight into the body in the first person as you, and what you type next changes that draft.
In short
What is an AI email writer?
An AI email writer turns a short instruction into a complete message, greeting and sign-off included. On a reply it needs the conversation too, or it answers a question nobody asked. The result is a draft, and the sender still decides.
How it works
It reads what you are answering
On a reply, the latest messages in the thread go along with what you type in the bar. The draft addresses whoever wrote last and answers what they actually asked.
A line, a rough version, or nothing
Type an instruction in the bar, or write a messy first go in the body and press the arrow to finish it. On a reply, pressing the arrow with nothing typed writes the answer the thread needs.
It sets the options too
Ask for a send time or a Cc, and the composer changes to match. Every change shows as a chip under the bar, and Undo puts it all back.
What you get
In the product today
The whole body
Opening and closing the way your sent mail does. Links and lists appear only when you ask for them or the draft already has them.
A subject too
A new message gets its subject along with the body. Replies and forwards keep the one they have.
Looks things up
Asked to explain or define something, it can search the web before writing.
Good practice
Getting the most out of it
- 01
Put the facts in
Figures and dates only you know belong in the note, since the draft cannot find them anywhere else.
- 02
Address it first
Content and tone are fitted to the recipients and the subject, so fill both in before asking.
- 03
Give it addresses, not names
It only adds addresses you typed or that appear in the thread, and never guesses one from a name. If it has none, a line under the bar says so.
