{{eventDate}}

{{eventLocation}}

Please save the date. {{hostName}} wanted you to know early, so you can plan around it.

A formal invitation with the full details and a way to reply will follow {{invitationTiming}}.

Add to calendar [{{calendarUrl}}]

There is nothing to reply to yet. You can answer once the invitation arrives.

You are receiving this because you are on the guest list for {{eventName}}.

Shown with sample values. The HTML and plain-text tabs keep the placeholders.

About

When to send it

Send it months ahead, once the date and the place are fixed but the full details are not. It holds a large date card with the place, a line on when the formal invitation will follow and a button to add the day to a calendar.
